To really fix a problem, you need to find and fix the real cause!

The closer you get to the root cause of the problem, the more sustainable the solution.

Do not jump to conclusions or solutions before the actual root cause is known and confirmed by facts and data!

PrimeWorkz DMAIC is PrimeWorkz’s standard framework for Continuous Improvement projects.

Essentially, the DMAIC cycle is built around the idea of data-driven problem solving.

DMAIC Cycle

DMAIC is an acronym for:

  • Define

  • Measure

  • Analyse

  • Improve

  • Control

For the approach to work, it is vital to start with a problem rather than with a solution.

The PrimeWorkz DMAIC amends the ‘classic’ Six Sigma DMAIC cycle with 12 more detailed steps (aka ‘the PrimeWorkz Pizza slices’) to provide additional guidance.

Primeworkz DMAIC applies to both bottom-up and top-down projects.

PrimeWorkz DMAIC de-emphasises the more heavy-duty statistical analyses trained in many more traditional Six Sigma programs while maintaining DMAIC’s focus on data-driven problem solving.

Continuous Improvement Method

PrimeWorkz employs the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) cycle for Continuous Improvement (C.I) projects, enhancing the classic Six Sigma framework with 12 additional steps for more detailed guidance.

The PrimeWorkz C.I Method emphasises data-driven problem-solving to address root causes and ensure sustainable solutions. Our Continuous Improvement framework is to:

  1. Define the problem or opportunity for improvement, aligning goals with client needs.

  2. Measure the current process state using relevant metrics to establish a baseline.

  3. Analyse collected data to identify root causes and prioritize areas for improvement.

  4. Implement solutions to address identified issues, piloting improvements before full-scale deployment.

  5. Control the process by establishing measures to sustain improvements and monitor performance over time.

Through this systematic approach, PrimeWorkz fosters efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement, ultimately benefiting its clients.
